4 p.m. – Hedonistas is a five-piece soul/pop/rock band from Atlanta, Ga. In 2018, they released their debut record, The Way Things Were, highlighted by Vulfpeck’s Cory Wong sitting in on their hit song “On the Run.” Their energetic performances propelled them to several sold-out shows in Georgia, as well as spots on music festivals across the Southeast. Their latest EP, Bad Decisions, was released March 15, 2021. The band is made up of Jake Keeble on vocals and keys, Sawyer Drummond on drums, Hunter Tredway on bass and keys and Max Blount and Peter Brazeal on guitar. 5:30 p.m. – The Talismen Band formed in 2015 in Montgomery, Ala. These talented musicians have been learning and growing as they entertain audiences all over the Southeast. With a combination of energy and sophistication beyond their years, The Talismen put on a show containing soulful and funk-filled originals along with some music of their favorite artists from across the jam, rock and funk spectrum.
7:30 p.m. – The Stooges Brass Band has earned their rank as one of the elite brass bands in New Orleans. The band consistently provides a welcome blast of true New Orleans spirit, engaging audiences with their innovative blend of traditional New Orleans brass sounds, contemporary jazz and hip-hop beats. Emerging onto the scene in 1996, they gained notoriety as a full-blown musical party, immersing the crowd in a cut-loose, contemporary vibe deeply rooted in the culturally rich New Orleans musical legacy. 9:30 p.m. – JJ Grey & Mofro is led by JJ Grey, an unfettered, blissful performer who sings with a blue-collared spirit over the bone-deep grooves of his compositions. Born out of Jacksonville, Fla., Grey’s presence before an audience is something startling and immediate, at times a funk rave-up, other times a sort of mass-absolution for the mortal weakness that make him and his audience human. When seeing Grey and his band Mofro live, the man is fearless. Singing with relentless honesty, the band is a soulful cross between Southern rock and classic blues.
