The Inside Scoop on SliceFest

SliceFest 2021 celebrates its 9th anniversary on Saturday, October 2nd as Birmingham's largest food & music block party hosted by Slice Pizza & Brewhouse. If you love music, great food and brews, giving back and Birmingham, then you don’t want to miss this festival. Slice Pizza & Brewhouse hosts the event to celebrate the restaurant’s anniversary and thank the Birmingham community for their continuous support. Over the past 8 years, the event has grown to a full-blown festival bringing in local and regional music talent paired with local craft beer and specialty pizzas.

SliceFest is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages, including a petting zoo, face painting and more, and will be a great place for game day with large-screen TVs airing college football throughout the day.

Community is what SliceFest is all about, not just a celebration of those that support Slice Pizza & Brewhouse, but a way to give back to the community. SliceFest has donated over $80,000 to Birmingham-based non-profits.

OUR MISSION

SliceFest brings the community together in a family-friendly, one-day event to celebrate through local fare, local brew and both local and nationally celebrated music and entertainment.

SLICEFEST GIVES BACK

Community is what SliceFest is all about. Not just a celebration of those that support Slice Pizza & Brewhouse, but a way to continuously give back to the community.

SliceFest will one again benefit the Suki Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected with Rett Syndrome and other neurological disorders. Created by Brian and Marie Bateh in honor of their daughter Sarah Katherine “Suki” Bateh following her diagnosis of Rett Syndrome at age 2, the Suki Foundation works to raise awareness and assist children in reaching their potential through early intervention services. Funds assist families in early detection and are instrumental in assuring early intervention by providing support, education and therapeutic services.
